Cyclops has been trying to investigate who has tampered with Ben Urich's memories, who had discovered the mutant secret of resurrection. Having died a very public death, Cyclops attempted to keep this secret by adopting the mantle of the new hero, Captain Krakoa. However, this is put on hold due to M.O.D.O.K. kidnapping an entire cruise ship... for science! As the X-Men rush in to save the passengers and stop M.O.D.O.K.'s "rage zombie" experiments, Synch and Wolverine (X-23, Laura Kinney) reflect on their shared time in the Vault.
